Well child care
Fostering Resilience and Good Health
Our Philosophy
Your Partner in Raising Healthy, Thriving Kids
Visiting the pediatrician is about more than staying up-to-date on your immunizations (although those are important, too!). At Pediatric Associates of the Northwest, we consider ourselves a partner and an advocate for your child’s well-being. That means every visit is an opportunity to check and double-check your child’s development, their physical and mental health, and your family’s wellness goals. With regular check-ins, we also get to know you better—and that means we are better able to prevent, detect, and treat potential issues sooner rather than later.
What to Expect
Pediatric Care Tailored to You
Did you know that between the ages of 1 day and 3 years, the PANW team will see your child 14 times? These early visits, continuing on through adolescence and into early adulthood, lay the groundwork for the empowering relationship our pediatric providers develop with our patients. We actively listen to our patients to address their questions about their growth and social-emotional development, and we offer comprehensive, on-site medical and behavioral health services for your convenience. We also screen and provide services for a number of issues including:
- Anemia
- Appropriate growth and nutrition
- Depression/anxiety
- Developmental milestones
- Elevated cholesterol
- Lead poisoning
- Mental health
- Substance abuse
- Vision and hearing issues
Invested in Your Well-Being
We Go the Extra Mile. Every time.
Our patients come first. So, whether it’s putting young patients at ease with a gentle approach, or collaborating with on-site specialty providers when an issue arises (sometimes even during the same well child visit), we strive to meet you where you are. And because we focus on the big picture—whole person, whole family—we also partner with Reach Out and Read to provide free books to all children during well child visits between the ages of 0 and 5 years. After all, reading together helps inspire a strong parent-child connection. And that is just one more part of our mission to empower our patients to live their healthiest, most resilient lives.
